Mrs. Marisa Sciacca, Head Teacher
Marisa Sciacca is an accomplished Head Teacher with over 25 years of experience in early childhood education. In 2020, she earned her Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, further enhancing her expertise in nurturing young minds. Marisa has learned that the best classrooms are filled with curiosity, laughter, and play. Marisa feels that children learn best when they feel safe, loved and free to explore. Marisa is a dedicated mother of two, and she shares her home with a beloved dog, adding warmth and joy to her family life. An avid reader, she enjoys diving into books during her leisure time, and she has a particular fondness for pasta, making it a staple in her kitchen. Marisa's favorite refreshment is iced coffee from the local bagel store, where she often takes a moment to relax and recharge.

Ms. Rhiannon Gasparre, Head Teacher
Rhiannon Gasppare, a proud native of Harrison, pursued her academic passions at the University of New Haven, where she earned a bachelor's degree in criminal justice and psychology. Her journey in education began at St. Greg’s, where she discovered her calling and transitioned into teaching after obtaining her Childhood Development Accreditation. This accomplishment led her to become a Head Teacher, a role she truly cherishes and thrives in.
She strives to create a classroom environment that is warm, inclusive, and encourages children to explore, ask questions, and grow with confidence.
When she’s not inspiring her students, Rhiannon enjoys hiking, caring for her dog, and spending quality time with her family, especially her two beloved nieces. Her commitment to education and her love for the outdoors reflects her vibrant spirit and dedication to nurturing both young minds and personal connections. Rhiannon's journey is a testament to her passion for learning and her devotion to creating a positive impact in the lives of those around her.

Samantha Volpe is a creative educator with a strong academic background, having graduated from SUNY Oneonta with an undergraduate degree in education and a master's degree from Mt. St. Vincent’s in both early childhood education and special education. Her passion lies in working with young children, where she focuses on supporting their development and nurturing their environments beyond the traditional classroom. Outside of her professional life, Samantha loves to travel and explore new countries, immersing herself in different cultures. She also enjoys cooking and experimenting with new recipes, bringing her love for culinary creativity into her everyday life.

Sharon Pe is a dedicated educator who graduated from the College of New Jersey with a bachelor's degree in early education and business. In the classroom, Sharon is committed to enriching her students' learning experiences through play, fostering a dynamic and engaging environment. Outside of teaching, she enjoys reading, traveling, and passionately supporting her oldest daughter as she embarks on her dance journey and career. Sharon’s blend of professional dedication and family values highlights her commitment to nurturing both young minds and cherished family moments. Together with her wonderful husband, Michael, she is actively raising three remarkable children who all attend schools in Harrison.

Mrs. Lisa Gonnella, Head Teacher
Lisa Gonnella is an inspiring educator who has dedicated over 15 years to fostering a love of learning in children across various grade levels. Currently teaching Preschool, she combines her passion for education with her expertise in early childhood development. Lisa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and a certification in Early Education from Iona College and furthered her education with a Master’s degree in Special Education and Reading for K-12 at Manhattanville College.
Beyond her professional achievements, Lisa is a devoted mother to two wonderful children and shares her life with an amazing husband. She finds joy in walking and reading, and she is constantly seeking innovative ways to engage young learners. Lisa’s commitment to creating exciting learning experiences reflects her belief that education should be both enjoyable and enriching.

Katie Mroz is an experienced educator with over a decade of teaching experience. She holds a bachelor's degree from St. Thomas Aquinas in education and has specialized in special education, reflecting her passion for inclusive teaching and supporting diverse learning needs. When she’s not in the classroom, Katie loves to explore her creative side, often found reading, crafting, or discovering new places. Family time is also a priority for her; she enjoys making memories with her husband and their new baby, balancing her professional and personal life with joy and enthusiasm.

Mrs. Adrienne Utschig, Head Teacher
Adrienne Utschig boasts over 26 years of teaching experience, with 20 of those years dedicated to the education of St. Gregory’s Pre-K children.
Adrienne has earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Iona University and a Master of Teaching degree from Manhattanville University. She also has a great love for music and is a graduate of the Westchester Conservatory of Music where she studied piano.
As one of the educators instrumental in creating the Pre-K 4 year old curriculum at St. Gregory’s, Adrienne is always finding new ways to make her curriculum fun, interesting and inspiring. She feels her one job is to make the children of St. Gregory’s love learning and she begins their educational journey in a very positive way.
Outside of the classroom, Adrienne enjoys playing the piano, indulging in a good book and traveling with her husband, Chuck. Together, they have raised three wonderful children and now cherish the joyful moments they spend with their four grandchildren. Adrienne’s dedication to education and her family reflects her commitment to enriching the lives of those around her.

With over 30 years of experience in the fashion industry, Jheri Ciaccio has seamlessly transitioned into the world of early childhood education. After earning her Childhood Development Accreditation, she now shares her passion for teaching Spanish at St. Greg's, where she delights in introducing young minds to the beauty of the language.
Her family is from Argentina, and Jheri's cultural heritage deeply influences her teaching style, inspiring her to create engaging and creative methods for children to learn Spanish. When she’s not in the classroom, Jheri is a dedicated mother of four, accompanied by her beloved dog, Piper, and supported by her wonderful husband, Frank.
Jheri enjoys reading, exploring new restaurants, and traveling. She is always seeking opportunities to enrich her life and the lives of her family through diverse experiences. Her journey reflects a commitment to education and a love for cultural exchange, making her an inspiring figure for both her students and her community.
